We designed viz4 so that you never have to worry about your data. Here's exactly what we do — and don't — collect.
Chart data: nothing. Numbers and labels you type into viz4 are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are never transmitted to our servers. We have no access to your chart content.
Anonymous analytics. We collect standard web analytics: page views, country-level location (not city-level), browser type, device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and cannot be linked to you individually.
Contact form submissions. If you contact us, we collect your name and email address solely to respond to your enquiry.
We use anonymous analytics to understand which features are most useful and to improve the product. We never use analytics to build individual user profiles or serve advertising.
We use contact information only to respond to the specific enquiry you sent. We do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent.
Chart data is never stored on our servers. Share links encode your chart data in the URL using Base64 — the data lives in the URL itself, not in any database we control.
Contact form data is stored with AES-256 encryption at rest and deleted after 90 days unless you are an active Pro subscriber.
We use only essential session cookies and anonymous analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our full Cookie Policy for details.
Under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), you have the right to access, correct, and delete any personal data we hold. Since we collect almost none, most requests are straightforward to fulfil.
